Cassie, the tortoise
Over Thanksgiving break, Kai's name was drawn from a hat to watch his classroom pet, Cassie. She is a tortoise and we loved having her. I've never spent time really with a tortoise and I was amazed watching her move, eat, and claw her way around her cage. We would let her out and that gal can move!

ah Marie would have loved a playdate with the chance of examining Cassie closer... we'll have to pay attention for another chance to take care of Cassie. sounds fun!
Hooray for Cassie! I bet Kai just loved having her at your house. We had her one Christmas and she was the total star of the house. I am sure it made Kai feel so proud and important. I love it!
